Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Cellular Antigens
Pathway and Disease: Cancers, Replication and Repair, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) is a modified base indicative of DNA damage associated with mutagenesis and carcinogenesis. There is increasing evidence to support the involvement of free radical reactions in the damage of biomolecules that eventually lead to several diseases in humans, such as atherosclerosis, cerebral and heart ischemia-reperfusion injury, cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation, diabetes, aging, and neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.
Alternate Names: 8-OHdG, 8-oxoguanine, 8-hydroxy-2-deoxyguanine, 8-oxyguanosine, 7, 8-Dihydro-8-oxo-2'-deoxyguanosine, 7, 8-Dihydro-8-oxodeoxyguanosine, 8-Hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine, 8-Hydroxydeoxyguanosine, 8-Oxo-2'-deoxyguanosine, 8-Oxo-7, 8-dihydro-2'-deoxyguanosine, 8-Oxo-7, 8-dihydrodeoxyguanosine, 8-Oxo-dG
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: CAS 88847-89-6
Antigen: KLH-conjugated 8-OHdG.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 25% glycerol, 5 mg/ml BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-A affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
