Background:
There are at least four distinct but related alkaline phosphatases: intestinal, placental, placental-like, and liver/bone/kidney (tissue non-specific). The product of this gene is a membrane bound glycosylated enzyme, localized to testis, thymus and certain germ cell tumors, that is closely related to both the placental and intestinal forms of alkaline phosphatase.
Alternative Name:
Alkaline phosphatase, placental-like, ALP-1, Alkaline phosphatase Nagao isozyme, Germ cell alkaline phosphatase, GCAP, Placental alkaline phosphatase-like, PLAP-like, ALPPL2, ALPPL
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:2000
Specificity: ALPPL2 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of ALPPL2 protein.
Immunogen:
Recombinant full length Human ALPPL2.
MW: ~ 57kDa
Swis Prot.: P10696
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide, 50% Glycerol.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
