Background:
Cytoplasmic tRNA 2-thiolation protein 1, plays a central role in 2-thiolation of mcm5S2U at tRNA wobble positions of tRNA(Lys), tRNA(Glu) and tRNA(Gln). Directly binds tRNAs and probably acts by catalyzing adenylation of tRNAs, an intermediate required for 2-thiolation. It is unclear whether it acts as a sulfurtransferase that transfers sulfur from thiocarboxylated URM1 onto the uridine of tRNAs at wobble position.
Alternative Name:
Cytoplasmic tRNA 2-thiolation protein 1, ATphospho-binding domain-containing protein 3, Cancer-associated gene protein, Cytoplasmic tRNA adenylyltransferase 1, CTU1, ATPBD3, NCS6
Application Dilution:
WB: 1:500~1:1000
Specificity: ATPBD3 (G318) polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of ATPBD3 protein.
Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 288-248 of Human ATPBD3.
MW: ~ 36 kDa
Swiss-Prot: Q7Z7A3
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
Rabbit IgG, 1mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.2
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
