Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC, IP
Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC, IP
Protein Family: Enzymes, Peptidases
Pathway and Disease: Cell Growth and Death, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
FLIP (FLICE-like inhibitory protein) is an apoptosis regulator protein which functions as a crucial link between cell survival and cell death pathways in mammalian cells. FLIP is expressed as both long and short isoforms. The short isoform contains two death effector domains homologous to the death effector domain of the FAS-associating protein FADD. The long form contains an additional caspase-like domain, but lacks a catalytic active site and the residues that form the CLARP, Casper, I-FLICE, FLAME-1 and MRIT.
Alternate Names: FLIP-S, CLARP2, MRIT beta-1, CASH beta, FLICE-like inhibitory protein short form, CASP8 and FADD-like apoptosis regulator, Cellular FLICE-like inhibitory protein, c-FLIP, Caspase-eight-related protein, Casper, Caspase-like apoptosis regulatory protein, CLARP, MACH-related inducer of toxicity, MRIT, Caspase homolog, CASH, Inhibitor of FLICE, I-FLICE, FADD-like antiapoptotic molecule 1, FLAME-1, Usurpin
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500; IP: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: O15519-2; AAC51623
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of human FLIP-S.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
