The SUZ12 Break Apart Probe detects rearrangements of the SUZ12 gene.
The SUZ12 gene, located on chromosome 17q11.2 is known for its frequent t(7;17)(p15; q21) translocation with fusion gene JAZF1. This translocation is seen in endometrial stromal neoplasms. Deletions of SUZ12 are also frequently observed in Neurofibromatosis type 1.
Empire Genomics has developed a SUZ12 Break Apart FISH Probe that can be used to detect SUZ12 gene rearrangements. The probe comes labeled in orange and green, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.
