Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Enzymes
Pathway and Disease: Cell Growth and Death, Signaling Molecules and Interaction, Signal Transduction.
Description:
The 14-3-3 protein activates tyrosine- and tryptophan hydroxylases in the presence of Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II. This family of proteins mediates transduction by binding to phosphoserine- or phosphothreonine-containing proteins. It is considered to be an adaptor protein being implicated in the regulation of a large number of both general and specialized signaling pathways. Its binding to the partner proteins usually results in the modulation of the activity for the binding partner. This antibody is reactive with 14-3-3 alpha, beta, gamma, delta, and epsilon.
Alternate Names: 14-3-3 protein beta/alpha, Protein kinase C inhibitor protein 1, KCIP-1, Protein 1054, YWHAB
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:200-1:500; IHC: 1:200-1:500
Accession No.: P31946
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of human 14-3-3 protein.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 0.1 mg/ml BSA, 25% glycerol with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
