Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB
Protein Family: Chaperones and Folding Catalysts
Pathway and Disease: Cell Growth and Death, Nervous and Sensory Systems
Description:
14-3-3 (14-3-3 protein beta/alpha) is an adapter protein implicated in the regulation of a large spectrum of both general and specialized signaling pathways. p1433-58 binds to a large number of partners, usually by recognition of a phosphoserine or phosphothreonine motif. p1433-58 binding generally results in the modulation of the activity of the binding partner. p1433-58 is a negative regulator of osteogenesis. Recent work has demonstrated that the dimeric status of the 14-3-3 protein is regulated by site-specific serine phosphorylation.
Alternate Names: 14-3-3 protein beta/alpha, Prepronerve growth factor RNH-1, Protein kinase C inhibitor protein 1, KCIP-1, 14-3-3 protein beta/alpha, N-terminally processed
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:1,000
Accession No.: P35213
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the C-term region of rat 14-3-3 protein.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of HEPES (pH7.5), 0.01% BSA with 50% glycerol. Antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
