2X ReadyGo PCR Master Mix is a 2X concentrated solution of Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, and all of the components required for PCR, except DNA template and primers. This pre-mixed formulation saves time and reduces contamination due to a reduced number of pipetting steps required for PCR set up. The mix is optimized for efficient and reproducible PCR.
The Master Mix has four versions, with standard buffer and GC buffer, colorless and green. The Master Mix with GC buffer is used for amplification of GC-rich target (GC content is >65%). The green one is supplemented with two tracking dyes for the convenience of direct gel loading of PCR products.
On a 1% agarose gel in 1X TBE, one dye migrates at approximately 4 kb and another migrates at approximately 50 bp.
Highlights
Convenient: Ready-to-use mix, direct loading of PCR products on gel
Thermostable: Enzyme in the mix retains at least 85% activity after 60 min at 95°C
Generates PCR products with 3'-dA overhangs
Incorporates modified nucleotides (e.g., biotin-, digoxigenin-, fluorescently-labeled nucleotide)
Efficient amplification of complex target
