Background:
erythrocyte membrane protein band 4.1(EPB41) Homo sapiens The protein encoded by this gene, together with spectrin and actin, constitute the red cell membrane cytoskeletal network. This complex plays a critical role in erythrocyte shape and deformability. Mutations in this gene are associated with type 1 elliptocytosis (EL1). Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Oct 2009],
Alternative Names:
EPB41, E41P, Protein 4.1, P4.1, 4.1R, Band 4.1, EPB4.1
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human EPB41 around the phosphorylation site of Tyr660/418. AA range:626-675
Isotype: Rabbit
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed band: 60
GeneID: EPB41
Storage: -20°C/1 year
