Size: 0.1 ml
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB
Protein Family: Enzymes
Pathway and Disease: Lipid Metabolism, Infectious Diseases
Description:
Arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase (5-Lipoxygenase) catalyzes the first step in leukotriene biosynthesis, and thereby plays a role in inflammatory processes. Serine phosphorylation by MAPKAPK2 is stimulated by arachidonic acid. Phosphorylation on Ser-523 by PKA has an inhibitory effect.
Alternate Names: Arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase, 5-LO, 5-lipoxygenase, ALOX5, LOG5
Application Notes: E: 1:1,000; WB: 1:1,000
Accession No.: P09917
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic phosphopeptide encompassing a sequence surrounding Ser523 of human 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO).
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 ml IgG in HEPES pH7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 0.01% BSA and 50% glycerol. Antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
