Order a custom ABL1 Break Apart FISH probe labeled in Orange-Green, Green-Orange, Green-Red, Green-Gold, Gold-Green or Red-Green and receive it in as little as 7 business days.
The ABL1 gene, located on chromosome 9q34.1, is activated by being translocated within the BCR (breakpoint cluster region) gene on chromosome 22. The t(9;22) translocation is present in ~90% of chronic myelogeneous leukemia (CML) cases. The chromosomal abnormality, t(9;22)(q34;q11.2), involving the ABL1, BCR, and ASS1 genes, is observed in ~95% of CML, ~20% of cases of adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), ~4% of cases of childhood ALL, and ~3% of acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
Our ABL1 Break Apart FISH Probe can be used to detect a rearrangement of the ABL1 gene. The probe comes labeled in green and orange, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.
