Size: 0.1 ml
Isotype: Mouse IgG1
Applications: E, WB
Protein Family: Enzymes, Protein Kinases
Pathway and Disease: Signaling Molecules and Interaction, Cancers, Development and Behavior, Cell Growth and Death, Infectious Diseases, Nervous and Sensory Systems
Description:
c-ABL (Proto-oncogene c-Abl) is a protein kinase that regulates key processes linked to cell growth and survival. c-ABL regulates cytoskeleton remodeling during cell differentiation, cell division and cell adhesion. C-ABL localizes to dynamic actin structures, and phosphorylates CRK and CRKL, DOK1, and other proteins controlling cytoskeleton dynamics. c-ABL regulates DNA repair potentially by activating the proapoptotic pathway when the DNA damage is too severe to be repaired. A chromosomal aberration involving c-ABL1 is a cause of chronic myeloid leukemia.
Alternate Names: ABL1, Abelson murine leukemia viral oncogene homolog 1, Proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase ABL1, c-ABL, p150, ABL
Application Notes: E: 10,000; WB: 1:500-1:2000
Accession No.: P00519
