Background:
Catalyzes the reversible transfer of the terminal phosphate group between ATP and AMP. Small ubiquitous enzyme involved in energy metabolism and nucleotide synthesis that is essential for maintenance and cell growth. Defects in AK1 are the cause of hemolytic anemia due to adenylate kinase deficiency.
Alternative Name:
Adenylate kinase 1, Adenylate kinase isoenzyme 1, Adenylate kinase soluble, AK 1, Ak1, ATP AMP transphosphorylase, ATP-AMP transphosphorylase 1, KAD1, Myokinase,
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500~1:2000, IHC/IF: 1:50~1:200
Specificity: AK1 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of AK1 protein.
Immunogen:
Recombinant full length Human AK1.
MW: ~ 22 kDa
Swis Prot.: P00568
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide, 50% Glycerol.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
