Background:
This gene encodes a protein associated with thecytoplasmic surface of synaptic vesicles. A subset of patients withstiff-man syndrome who were also affected by breast cancer arepositive for autoantibodies against this protein. Alternatesplicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encodingdifferent isoforms. Additional splice variants have been described, but their full length sequences have not been determined. Apseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 11.
Other Names:
Amphiphysin, AMPH, AMPH1
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence is selected from aa 155-168 of HUMAN AMPH
Gene Name: AMPH
Gene ID: 273
Primary Accession: P49418
Other Accession: O08838; Q7TQF7; NP_647477.1
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
