Nano-activeGold™ is a newly developed gold immunoprobe. Nano-ActiveGold™ reagents consist of affinity-purified IgG antibodies, goat anti-biotin IgG covalently conjugated to the 1.5 nm Nano-activeGold™ cluster label. Nano-activeGold™ can be used in immunoblotting, light microscopy, and electron microscopy to provide clear visibility. Specifications: Smallest commercially available gold immunoprobes. Penetrates and reaches antigens inaccessible to other probes. Extremely uniform 1.5 nm diameter gold label. Close to 1 Nano-activeGold™ particle to 1 IgG. Low non-specific affinity gives minimal background. Ultrasensitivity with silver enhancement: 0.1 pg of antigen detection on immunoblots. Gold covalently attached to antibody.
