Background:
ANXA3 is a member of the annexin family. Members of this calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein family play a role in the regulation of cellular growth and in signal transduction pathways. This protein functions in the inhibition of phopholipase A2 and cleavage of inositol 1,2-cyclic phosphate to form inositol 1-phosphate. This protein may also play a role in anti-coagulation.

Other Names:
Annexin A3, 35-alpha calcimedin, Annexin III, Annexin-3, Inositol 1,2-cyclic phosphate 2-phosphohydrolase, Lipocortin III, Placental anticoagulant protein III, PAP-III, ANXA3, ANX3

Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP2829c was selected from the Center region of human ANXA3. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.

Gene Name: ANXA3

Gene ID: 306
Primary Accession: P12429
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
