Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Transporters
Pathway and Disease: Lipid Metabolism
Description:
Apolipoprotein D (ApoD) occurs in the macromolecular complex with lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase. ApoD is involved in the transport and binding of bilin. ApoD appears to be able to transport a variety of ligands in a number of different contexts. ApoD is primarily localized in HDL (60-65%), with most of the remainder in VHDL and only trace amounts in VLDL and LDL.
Alternate Names: ApoD, Apolipoprotein D, Apo-D, APOD
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: P05090
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of human ApoD.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 25% glycerol, 5 mg/ml BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-A affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
