Background:
ASPSCR1 is tethering protein that sequesters GLUT4-containing vesicles in the cytoplasm in the absence of insulin. Modulates the amount of GLUT4 that is available at the cell surface.

Other Names: Tether containing UBX domain for GLUT4, Alveolar soft part sarcoma chromosomal region candidate gene 1 protein, Alveolar soft part sarcoma locus, Renal papillary cell carcinoma protein 17, UBX domain-containing protein 9, ASPSCR1, ASPL, RCC17, TUG, UBXD9, UBXN9

Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8821b was selected from the C-term region of human ASPSCR1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.

Type: Synthetic peptide

Primary Accession: Q9BZE9

Gene ID: 79058

Gene Name: ASPSCR1

Format: Synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml DI water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.
