Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB
Protein Family: Enzymes, Protein Kinases
Pathway and Disease: Cancers, Cell Growth and Death, Replication and Repair, Signal Transduction, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
Ataxia telangiectasia mutated (ATM) is a Ser/Thr protein kinase which activates checkpoint signaling upon double strand breaks, apoptosis and genotoxic stresses such as ionizing ultraviolet A light, thereby acting as a DNA damage sensor. ATM is also involved in signal transduction and cell cycle control and may function as a tumor suppressor. Defects in ATM are the cause of ataxia telangiectasia, leukemia, and lymphoma.
Alternate Names: Serine-protein kinase ATM, Ataxia telangiectasia mutated, A-T mutated, ATM
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: Q13315, NP_000042
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of human ATM.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
