Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Mouse IgG2b
Applications: E, WB, IHC; ICC
Protein Family: Chaperones and Folding Catalysts
Pathway and Disease: Signaling Molecules and Interaction, Membrane Transport
Description:
Box-dependent myc-interacting protein 1 (BIN1) is involved in regulation of synaptic vesicle endocytosis. BIN1 acts as a tumor suppressor and inhibits malignant cell transformation. Defects in BIN1 are the cause of centronuclear myopathy autosomal recessive (ARCNM), also known as autosomal recessive myotubular myopathy. Centronuclear myopathies are congenital muscle disorders characterized by progressive muscular weakness and wasting involving mainly limb girdle, trunk, and neck muscles.
Alternate Names: BIN1, Myc box-dependent-interacting protein 1, Bridging integrator 1, Amphiphysin-like protein, Amphiphysin II, Box-dependent myc-interacting protein 1, AMPHL
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500; ICC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: O00499
Antigen: Recombinant polypeptide encompassing the center region of human BIN1.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 2% BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
