The BRAF Break Apart FISH Probe localizes to the BRAF gene allowing confirmation of rearrangements of the gene.
BRAF mutations have been associated with various cancers including: non-Hodgkin lymphoma, colorectal cancer, malignant melanoma, papillary thyroid carcinoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, and adenocarcinoma of the lung. The BRAF gene encodes a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the RAS/RAF/MEK/ERK/MAPK pathway. This protein plays a role in regulating cell division, differentiation, and secretion.
Empire Genomics has developed a BRAF Break Apart FISH Probe which can be used to detect a rearrangement of the BRAF gene. The probes come labeled in orange and green, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.
CE Marked (Orange-Green color option only)
