The BRAF FISH Probe is used to detect BRAF gene aneusomy.
Empire Genomics has developed a BRAF FISH Probe assay which can be used to detect BRAF gene aneusomy. The probe comes labeled in orange, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.
The BRAF gene encodes a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the RAS/RAF/MEK/ERK/MAPK pathway. This protein plays a role in regulating cell division, differentiation, and secretion. Mutations in this gene have been associated with various cancers including: non-Hodgkin lymphoma, colorectal cancer, malignant melanoma, papillary thyroid carcinoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, and adenocarcinoma of the lung.
