Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Enzymes, Protein Kinases
Pathway and Disease: Cell Motility, Signal Transduction, Cell Communication, Immune System, Endocrine System, Infectious Diseases
Description:
BRAF (Serine/threonine-protein kinase B-raf) is involved in the transduction of mitogenic signals from the cell membrane to the nucleus. BRAF plays a role in the postsynaptic responses of hippocampal neurons. Defects in BRAF are a cause of cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome (CFC syndrome), also known as cardio-facio-cutaneous syndrome. CFC syndrome is characterized by a distinctive facial appearance, heart defects and mental retardation.
Alternate Names: BRAF, B-Raf proto-oncogene serine/threonine-protein kinase, p94, v-Raf murine sarcoma viral oncogene homolog B1, BRAF1, RAFB1
Application Notes: E: 1:10,000-1:50,000; WB: 1:2,000-1:10,000; IHC: 1:200-1:1,000
Accession No.: P15056
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of human BRAF.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 0.5 mg/ml BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
