Source:
A BALB/c mouse was immunized with Campylobacter jejuni type 1.
Fusion partner: Sp2/0.
Specifications:
EBS-I-002reactswith a soluble excreted antigen in ELISA. This determinant is unaffected by frozen storage of specimens, unlike antibodies to flagellar antigens which require fresh cultured organism.
Species reactivity:
Positive: C. jejuni, type 1 (K807, K858, K634) Type 2, C. coli, C. hyointestinalis, C lardis. Cross reacts with Staphylococcus aureus and weakly with Pseudomonas fluorescens. Negative: C. fetus, C. fetus intestinals, C. faecalis, H. pylori, Listeriamonocytogenes, Actinomyces israelii, E. coli, Lactobacillus casei, Bacilluscereus, C. freundi, Salmonella Virchow,Streptococcusfaecalis and Enterobacter aerogenes.
Applications:
Immunocytochemistry on frozen sections. ELISA and immunofluorescence.
ELISA: +
Immunofluorescence: +
Frozen sections: +
Paraffin sections: ⎼
Positive control: C. jejuni.
