Casein kinase I isoform alpha (CKI-alpha) is a kinase than can phosphorylate a large number of proteins, having a preference for acidic proteins such as caseins. CKI-alpha participates in the Wnt signaling pathway. CKI-alpha plays a role in segregating chromosomes during mitosis.
