Description:
C-C chemokine receptor type 5 (CCR-5) is a receptor for a number of inflammatory CC-chemokines, including MIP-1-alpha, MIP-1-beta and RANTES. CCR-5 transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ion level. CCR-5 plays a role in the control of granulocytic lineage proliferation or differentiation. CCR-5 acts as a coreceptor (CD4 being the primary receptor) for HIV-1 R5 isolates.
Alternate Names: C-C chemokine receptor type 5, C-C CKR-5, CC-CKR-5, CCR-5, CCR5, HIV-1 fusion coreceptor, CHEMR13, CD195, CCR5, CMKBR5
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: P51681
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of human CCR-5.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 5% BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
