Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB
Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB
Protein Family: CAM Ligands, Cell Adhesion Molecules, Cellular Antigens
Pathway and Disease: Cancers, Cell Communication, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
Cadherins are calcium-dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells. E-cadherin (CDH1) is involved in mechanisms regulating cell-cell adhesion, mobility and proliferation of epithelial cells. CDH1 has a potent invasive suppressor role. CDH1 binds to integrin alpha-E/beta-7. Defects in CDH1 are the cause of gastric, endometrial, breast, ovary and thyroid cancers. This antibody may cross-react with cadherin-2, 3 and 4.
Alternate Names: Epithelial cadherin, Uvomorulin, Cadherin-1, CAM 120/80, CD324 antigen, CDH1, CDHE, UVO
Application Notes: This antibody may cross-react with cadherin-2, 3 and 4. E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: P12830, NP_004351
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the C-term region of human E-cadherin.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 17% glycerol with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
