Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Cellular Antigens, Transporters
Pathway and Disease: Cancers, Membrane Transport
Description:
Breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP) is a xenobiotic transporter with an important role in the exclusion of xenobiotics from the brain. BCRP is also involved in the multidrug resistance phenotype of several cancer cell lines. When overexpressed, the transfected cells become resistant to mitoxantrone, daunorubicin and doxorubicin, display diminished intracellular accumulation of daunorubicin, and manifest an ATP-dependent increase in the efflux of rhodamine 123.
Alternate Names: ATP-binding cassette sub-family G member 2, Placenta-specific ATP-binding cassette transporter, Mitoxantrone resistance-associated protein, Breast cancer resistance protein, CDw338, CD338, ABCG2, ABCP, BCRP, BCRP1, MXR
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:200-1:500; IHC: 1:200-1:500
Accession No.: Q9UNQ0
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the C-term region of human BCRP.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 25% glycerol, 1 mg/ml BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-A affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
