Isotype: Mouse IgG1
Applications: WB, IHC
Protein Family: CAM Ligands, Cellular Antigens, Enzymes
Pathway and Disease: Cofactor and Vitamin Metabolism, Immune System, Signal Transduction, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
CD38 is a 45-kDa single chain type-II transmembrane glycoprotein. It is expressed on thymocytes, activated T and B cells, hematopoietic progenitors and terminally differentiated B cells/plasma cells (at high levels). CD38 antigen is also present on monocytes, dendritic cells, NK cells and some epithelial cells. CD38 is a NAD glycohydrolase and is a regulator of cell activation and proliferation, and also involved in adhesion between human lymphocytes and endothelial cells.
Alternate Names: CD38, ADP-ribosyl cyclase 1, Cyclic ADP-ribose hydrolase 1, cADPr hydrolase 1, T10
Application Notes: WB: 1:500-1:2000; IHC: 1:200-1:1000;
Accession No.: P28907
Antigen: Purified recombinant fragment of human CD38 expressed in E. coli.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 ml ascitic fluid with 0.03% sodium azide.
