Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: CAM Ligands, Glycan Binding Proteins
Pathway and Disease: Signaling Molecules and Interaction, Infectious Diseases
Description:
CD62P (P-Selectin) is a Ca2+-dependent receptor for myeloid cells that binds to carbohydrates on neutrophils and monocytes. CD62P mediates the interaction of activated endothelial cells or platelets with leukocytes. The ligand for CD62P is sialyl-Lewis X. Activation of CD62P mediates leukocyte rolling over vascular surfaces during the initial steps in inflammation through interaction with PSGL1. Defects in CD62P have been linked to an increased susceptibility to ischemic stroke.
Alternate Names: CD62P, P-selectin, Granule membrane protein 140, GMP-140, PADGEM, Leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion molecule 3, LECAM3, CD62 antigen-like family member P, SELP
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: Q01102
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the C-term region of mouse CD62P.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
