CD9 FISH Probe is used to detect CD9 gene aneusomy.
The CD9 gene, located on chromosome 12p13.31, is expressed in 90% of non-T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (non-T cell ALL) and in 50% of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML). Additional mutations and abnormal expression of CD9 is frequently observed in lung, breast, skin, esophageal, and colon cancers.
Empire Genomics has developed a CD9 FISH Probe assay which can be used to detect CD9 gene aneusomy. The probe comes labeled in orange, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.
