Size: 2 ml
Isotype: mouse IgM
Applications: FC
Protein Family: CAM Ligands, Cell Adhesion Molecules, Cellular Antigens
Pathway and Disease: Immune System, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
The CD99R (HIT4) antibody recognizes a 32-kDa type-I single chain highly glycosylated transmembrane protein. CD99R is an isoform of CD99 with restricted cell distribution. CD99R antigen is expressed on hematopoietic progenitors, thymocytes, a subset of T cells (30-42% of CD4+ cells and 15-23% of CD8+ cells), NK cells and some leukemic cells, but is not on B cells, erythrocytes and platelets. In leukemia, the co-expression of CD99R antigen and CD38 antigen predicts that the leukemic cells are in early or immature stage.
Alternate Names: CD99, CD99 antigen, T-cell surface glycoprotein E2, E2 antigen, Protein MIC2, 12E7, CD99 Restricted, CD99R
Application Notes: FC with whole blood: 100 μl blood + 20 μl antibody; FC with cells: 10E6 cells + 20 μl antibody. FC: 1:200-1:1,000
Accession No.: P14209
Format: Each vial contains 2 ml IgM (100 tests) in PBS pH7.4, 0.1% BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by hydroxyapatite chromatography.
