Chromosome 18, X, & Y Control Probe

The Chromosome 18, X, & Y probe can be used as a control for identifying chromosomes 18, X, and Y via fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) in metaphase cells and interphase nuclei obtained from amniotic fluid in subjects with presumed high risk pregnancies in as little as 2 hours when used with Empire Genomics SwiftFISH rapid hybridization buffer. This kit is frequently purchased with the Chromosome 13/21 Control Probe.
