The CREB1 FISH Probe is used to detect rearrangements of the gene.
This gene encodes a transcription factor that is a member of the leucine zipper family of DNA binding proteins. The translocation t(2;22)(q33;q12) generates a EWSR1/CREB1 fusion gene that is commonly found in angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma tumors.
Empire Genomics has developed a CREB1 FISH Probe which can be used to detect CREB1 gene aneusomy. The probe comes labeled in orange, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.
