Description:
Deltex-1 protein (DTX1) is a regulator of Notch signaling, a signaling pathway involved in cell-cell communication that regulates a broad spectrum of cell-fate determination. DTX1 mediates the antineural activity of Notch, possibly by inhibiting the transcriptional activation mediated by MATCH1. DTX1 is involved in neurogenesis, lymphogenesis and myogenesis.
