Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Enzymes
Pathway and Disease: Folding, Sorting and Degradation
Description:
Alpha-enolase (ENO1) is a multifunctional enzyme that, as well as its role in glycolysis, plays a part in various processes such as growth control, hypoxia tolerance and allergic responses. ENO1 also functions in the intravascular and pericellular fibrinolytic system due to its ability to serve as a receptor and activator of plasminogen on the cell surface of several cell-types such as leukocytes and neurons. ENO1 stimulates immunoglobulin production. ENO1 is used as a diagnostic marker for many tumors and, in the heterodimeric form, alpha/gamma, as a marker for hypoxic brain injury after cardiac arrest.
Alternate Names: Alpha-enolase, 2-phospho-D-glycerate hydro-lyase, Non-neural enolase, NNE, Enolase 1, Phosphopyruvate hydratase, C-myc promoter-binding protein, MBP-1, MPB-1, Plasminogen-binding protein, ENO1, ENO1L1, MBPB1, MPB1
Application Notes: E: 1:1,000-1:10,000; WB: 1:200-1:1,00; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: P06733
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of human ENO1.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 2% BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
