The Erythropoietin Receptor (EPOR), located on chromosome 19p13.2, is a member of the cytokine receptor family and functions in the activation of JAK2 tyrosine kinase. EPOR is expressed in breast cancer and directly correlates with the expression of estrogen receptor (ESR) and progesterone receptor (PGR). It is also commonly associated with acute erythroid leukemia.
Our EPOR Break Apart FISH Probe can be used to detect a rearrangement of the EPOR gene. The probe comes labeled in orange and green, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.
