Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Cytokines
Pathway and Disease: Cancers, Cell Growth and Death, Development and Behavior, Replication and Repair
Description:
FGF1 (Heparin-binding growth factor 1, Acidic fibroblast growth factor) and FGF2 (Basic FGF) are angiogenic agents in vivo and potent mitogens for a variety of cell types in vitro. There are differences between these heparin-binding growth factors in tissue distribution and concentration. FGF1 binds FGFR2, forming a ternary complex of two molecules each of FGFR2 and FGF1 for one heparin molecule. Interacts with FGFBP1 and forms a complex with FGF2 and FGFBP1.
Alternate Names: Heparin-binding growth factor 1, HBGF-1, Acidic fibroblast growth factor, aFGF, Beta-endothelial cell growth factor, ECGF-beta, FGF1, FGFA
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:200-1:500; IHC: 1:200-1:500
Accession No.: P05230
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of human FGF1.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 25% glycerol. 0.1 mg/ml BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-A and peptide affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
