A BALB/c mouse was immunized with fibronectin secreted by embryonic human fibroblasts.

Specifications:
618 Recognizes an epitope contained within the gelatin binding domain of human fibronectin Fibronectins, 220 kDa monomer; 440 kDa dimer, are present in basement membranes, interstitial connective tissue matrix, and blood. Cellular fibronectin is widely distributed in the stroma of many malignant tumors.

Species reactivity:
Positive: human. Negative: dog, ferret.

Applications:
618 Is recommended for detection of second-third type III repeats of human fibronectin by Western blotting, immunofluorescence tests and immunohistochemistry (frozen sections).
