The FOXO1/PAX3 Fusion FISH Probe detects translocations between the FOXO1 & PAX3 genes.
The FOXO1/PAX3 fusion oncogene located on chromosomes 13q14.1/2q36.1 results from the frequent reciprocal translocation t(2;13)(q35;q14). This translocation occurs in 60% of alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS) cases, and is one of the most common malignant skeletal muscle tumors in childhood and adolescence.
Empire Genomics has developed a FOXO1/PAX3 Fusion FISH Probe that can be used to detect translocations between the FOXO1 and PAX3 genes. The probe comes labeled in orange and green, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.
