The FOXO1/PAX7 Fusion FISH Probe detects translocations between the FOXO1 & PAX7 genes.
The FOXO1/PAX7 fusion oncogene located on chromosomes 13q14.11/1p36.13 results from the frequent reciprocal translocation t(1;13)(p36;q14). This translocation occurs in 20% of alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma cases (ARMS), and 5% of embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma (ERMS), a malignant soft tissue tumor that accounts for 70-80% of all RMS tumors in childhood and adolescence.
Empire Genomics has developed a FOXO1/PAX7 Fusion FISH Probe that can be used to detect translocations between the FOXO1 & PAX7 genes. The probe comes labeled in orange & green, and you may also choose to customize the probe to meet your needs.
