Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Receptors and Channels
Pathway and Disease: Development and Behavior, Signal Transduction, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
The growth hormone receptor (GHR) is the receptor for pituitary gland growth hormone involved in regulating postnatal body growth. The soluble form (GHBP) acts as a reservoir of growth hormone in plasma and is a modulator/inhibitor of GH signaling. Binding of GH to the receptor activates the JAK2/STAT5 pathway. Defects in GHR are a cause of Laron dwarfism.
Alternate Names: Growth hormone receptor, GH receptor, Somatotropin receptor, GHR
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: P10912
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of human GHR.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 25% glycerol, 0.1 mg/ml BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-A affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
