Application:
Red-colored affinity matrix consists of reduced glutathione covalently attached to red beaded agarose 4B (Separopore®) via epoxy activation. View-IP™ Glutathione Red-Separopore® 4B-CL is used for affinity capture, molecular pull-down, or IP of proteins containing glutathione binding sequences, i.e. glutathione S-transferase (GST), glutathione peroxidase and glyoxalase I. It greatly reduces the risk of pellet loss. Comparable performance to non-colored affinity gels, but allows the user to easily differentiate pellet from supernatant. This results in greater consistency and more accurate data due to less sample losses.
Note: Separopore® is a cost-effective equivalent to Sepharose® in all of its physical properties and binding characteristics.
