Product Description
Glycine buffer has a concentration of 0.2M and a pH of 3.0. Glycine is used as a component for some solutions used in SDS-PAGE of protein analysis. It serves as a buffering agent to maintain pH and prevent sample damage during electrophoresis. It can also be used to remove protein-labeling antibodies from Western blot membranes which allows more data to be drawn by the process of stripping. Glycine buffer has a melting point of 233°C, a boiling point around 240.9°C, and a density of 1.1607 g/cm3.
For laboratory use only. Not fit for agricultural, household, clinical use or human consumption.
Molecular Weight : 75.07
Molecular Formula : C2H5NO2
