Application:
Binds rabbit IgG to the beads. Used for immunoprecipitation and Co-immunoprecipitation studies (to separate the IgG’s antigen-containing protein from solution). Affinity isolated goat anti-rabbit IgG coupled to cyanogen bromide-activated Separopore® 4B offers the advantage of increased sensitivity for rabbit IgG without cross-reactivity to other proteins. Goat anti-rabbit IgG Separopore® binds with the heavy and light chains of rabbit IgG, and with the light chains of rabbit IgM and IgA as demonstrated by ELISA and flow cytometry. The cross reactivity with human immunoglobulins is minimal.
Note: Separopore® is a cost-effective equivalent to Sepharose® in all of its physical properties and binding characteristics.
