Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Receptors and Channels, Transcription Factors
Pathway and Disease: Signaling Molecules and Interaction, Transcription
Description:
The glucocorticoid receptor (GR) is a receptor for glucocornticoids (GC) and has a dual mode of action: as a transcription factor that binds to glucocorticoid response elements (cRE) and as a modulator of other transcription factors. GR affects inflammatory responses, as well as cellular proliferations and differentiation in target tissues. GR is cytoplasmic in the absence of ligand, and nuclear after ligand-binding. GR belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor (NR3) sub family. GR contains 1 nuclear receptor DNA- binding domain.
Alternate Names: Glucocorticoid receptor, GR, Nuclear receptor subfamily 3 group C member 1, NR3C1, GRL
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:200-1:500; IHC: 1:200-1:500
Accession No.: P04150
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of human GR.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
