Background Information:
Multiple tags (Myc-Avi-V5-DYKDDDDK (FLAG)-HA-His) are expressed at the c-terminus of GST protein. This protein can be used as the positive control for Western blotting or ELISA assay for recombinant protein or transfectant expressing one of the tags (Myc-Avi-V5-DYKDDDDK (FLAG)-HA-His).

Molecular Weight:
The 321 amino acid protein has the predicted molecular weight of 35.9 kDa. The protein migrates at approximately 35 kDa on SDS-PAGE with DTT-reduced condition. Some smaller bands below 30 kDa might correspond to the early translational termination products.
Purity: >90% based on SDS-PAGE
Formulation: 1xPBS/0.09% NaN3 buffer, 0.22 µm filtered
Concentration:
25 µg size is bottled at 0.2mg/mL concentration. 100 µg size is bottled at lot specific concentration.
Storage and Handling:
Quick spin the vial after receiving. Unopened vial can be stored at 4°C for 2 weeks or at -20°C and below for six months. The protein can be further diluted to 0.1 mg/mL with 0.22 µm filtered Tris PH 7.5 buffer. This stock solution should be aliquoted and stored at ≤ -70°C to minimize the freeze/thaw cycles. Carrier protein such as FBS and BSA need to be added if further dilution is needed.
