Description:
The HEV antibody recognizes several putative Hepatitis E virus proteins including protein ORF3 (pORF3), the immunogenic protein from the viral capsid and structural proteins. pORF3 is a viral regulatory protein involved in mitogenic signaling pathways, virion morphogenesis, viral pathogenesis as well as in the processing and secretion of AMBP from the hepatocyte.

Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the C-term region of HEV proteins.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 1 mg/ml BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-A affinity chromatography.
