Size: 0.1 mg
Isotype: Rabbit Ig
Applications: E, WB, IHC
Protein Family: Cell Adhesion Molecules, Cellular Antigens
Pathway and Disease: Infectious Diseases, Immune System, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
HIV-1 envelope gp160 (gp160 HIV-1) is cleaved into two chains: surface protein gp120, and transmembrane protein gp41. The surface protein gp120 (SU) attaches the virus to the host lymphoid cell by binding to the primary receptor CD4. The transmembrane protein gp41 acts as a class I viral fusion protein. Inhibitors targeting HIV-1 viral envelope proteins are used as antiretroviral drugs.
Alternate Names: gp160 HIV-1, gp160, human immunodeficiency virus type 1, HIV-1, Envelope glycoprotein gp160, Env polyprotein, env
Application Notes: 254546 reacts with gp160 and gp120 proteins. E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: P03375
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of HIV-1 gp160.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-A affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
