Isotype: mouse IgG1
Applications: E, FC, IHC
Protein Family: Cellular Antigens
Pathway and Disease: Immune System, Cancers
Description:
The HLA-DP (HI43) antibody recognizes a 28/34-kDa α, β heterodimer glycoprotein named class II major histocompatibility complex (or human leukocyte antigen) DP monomorphic antigen expressed on hematopoietic progenitors, B lymphocytes, monocytes/ macrophages, dendritic cells, langerhans cells, activated T cells, some endothelial and epithelial cells, but not on resting T lymphocytes, erythrocytes and platelets. HLA-DP antigen is also expressed at high levels on B lymphocyte leukemic cells and cells of CML-LBC, at moderate levels on the cells of AML-M1/M2, M4 and M5, but not on the cells of AML-M3 and CML. This antibody can be used as a valuable reagent in diagnosis and classification of leukemias.
Alternate Names: HLA-DP, HLA class II histocompatibility antigen, DP(W4) beta chain, HLA-DPB1, HLA-DP1B, HLA class II histocompatibility antigen, DP alpha chain, HLA-SB alpha chain, MHC class II DP3-alpha, DP(W3), DP(W4), HLA-DPA1, HLA-DP1A, HLASB
Application Notes: Purified antibody is suitable for immunohistochemistry with acetone-fixed frozen and formalin-fixed paraffin sections. E: 1:500-1:1,000; FC: 1:200-1:1,000; IHC: 1:200-1:500
Accession No.: Q30058; P04440; P20036
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
